After Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman Khan is finally back on the big screens today (26 November) with his latest release Antim: The Final Truth. Also featuring Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana in pivotal roles, the film has the superstar essaying the role of a Sikh police officer named Rajveer Singh. Well, the reviews for Antim are now out and Salman is getting a positive response for his performance from critics as well as fans. 

However, this is not the first time when he is playing a police officer on screen. Time and again, he has played a cop in various films and we can just say that such roles suit him really well with fans going crazy every time they see him in the police uniform. Dabangg

Chulbul Pandey, the name of Salman's character from Dabangg series, is ought to be his most popular and entertaining cop character till now. From his epic one-liners to funny comebacks, Chulbul Pandey received immense love from fans. Whether you love his romantic avatar or him fighting against the villains, the character’s swag and charming personality own a huge fan following. After Dabangg's release, Chulbul became the favourite of the masses and Salman reprised the popular character in Dabangg 2 and Dabangg 3. 

Wanted

After going through a rough patch with consecutive flop films, Salman's career came back on track after the success of Prabhu Deva's Wanted in 2009. The actor played the character of Radhe, a local goon. However, in the climax, it was revealed that he was an undercover police officer named Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. This plot twist was loved by fans and Salman received a thunderous response for his role.  

Garv: Pride And Honour

Garv was released in 2004 and featured Shilpa Shetty opposite Salman. The film revolved around the politics in Maharashtra and Mumbai underworld. The actor played an honest police officer named Arjun Ranawat in the Puneet Issar directorial. His real journey starts when he decides to fight back after getting trapped in the corrupt system. Salman was a perfect choice for the role and viewers liked his emotional side as well.

Auzaar

While a lot of youngsters today might not be aware of this 1999 action drama, Salman gave a really fine performance in Auzaar. He played Suraj Prakash, a CBI officer, who is assigned to investigate a criminal and his illegal operations. The twist comes when it is revealed that the gangster is none other than his best friend's father. He still deals with it maturely and shares the reality with his friend. This character of Salman is among his most humanised ones. 

Antim: The Final Truth

In his latest release, Salman is playing the role of a Sikh cop who is cool, tough, and righteous. Talking about his role in an interview recently, the actor revealed that Rajveer's character is different from his other cop roles and he was waiting to play something like this on the screen.
