According to an army official the Indian Army has developed a mobile application to help its officer’s track details like promotions and postings from their mobile phones.
The army has named the application as 'Humraaz' app, using which, soldiers, while using their mobile phones, can view the Form 16 and their monthly salary slips and can also download the same.
The Army will launch the application in the second week of August for quick communication of information to junior commissioner officers and other personnel’s, also the application has been developed in-house by the army personnel’s.
Also, the installation of the application has been linked to verification of Aadhar details, concerning the security reasons.
Verification of the army officer’s Aadhar detail, who will download the application, will be done using the database of the army over National Information Centre (NIC) cloud and the registering officer will get a one-time-password on his registered mobile number to verify his details.
The official said that therefore, to allow usage of this mobile application, the up-to-date mobile number of individuals should be linked to the personnel’s Aadhar number.
